Belgian Army Flintlock Pistol
Circa 1775-1830
Standard Issue - SOLD


Having a 9-inch barrel; .70 caliber Belgian Army flintlock pistol; standard issue; brass furniture; "DN" under crown proof mark on lockplate; stock has three six pointed star inspector marks next to trigger guard; lanyard ring. There is a half-inch shrinkage crack left of breech running to lock screw on cheek side; typical dings and dents, barrel pitted as depicted, lanyard ring bent. These were exported and used in third world areas through the 19th century. They were obsolete but not to those in the third world.
