Three Barrel Swivel Breech Rifle by H. V. Perry of Fredonia New York

H. V. Perry Three-Barrel Cluster Rifle marked on one of the barrels: H. V. PERRY / Fredonia. Each of the ribs is stamped ”Cast Steel”. Perry was a New York gunsmith that moved around – going from Dansville to Fredonia to Pomfret to Ellicott to Jamestown, NY during 1840 to 1897. Throughout this time, he was renowned for manufacturing fine percussion rifles, sometimes built in multiple barrel configurations – up to a six-barrel model.

This is a shooter’s gun. A plain gun not fancy. But rare in the three barrel configuration. Each barrel has a small simple blade front sight. The rear sight is a “V” notch type. There is a pendulum-shaped patchbox on right of butt.
