Cased English Bar Hammer Percussion Pepperbox
Engraved German Silver Frame
Anonymous - SOLD

This cased English .38 caliber percussion pepperbox is unsigned, and the maker is unknown. The gun has fluted, ribbed barrels that are 4-inches long. The gun itself measures 8.75-inches in overall length. The frame is German silver, while the trigger guard is steel, and the grips are walnut. A sliding safety is on the back strap. The barrels are sharp, and the blue finish has faded to a brown-gray. Some case color remains on the hammer. The beautiful walnut grips have probably been re-varnished. The pistol is cased in the correct case with a rectangular flask, a screwdriver, nipple wrench, rammer, mold, brass oilcan and a cap box. There is a small crack in the case lid, noted here for accuracy.
