A .44 Russian caliber, Forehand & Wadsworth Army revolver, in nickel with a California Bear on the left side, and marked serial number 1022. The California Bear was the trademark of a San Francisco retailer of the period. The pistol measures 13.5-inches in overall length, and the barrel measures 6.75-inches in length.
