This full stocked .40-caliber example having interesting architecture with delicate wrist, fine Roman nose and raised cheek-piece is converted to percussion as most were...the lock is signed Moore and is assumed to be by well-known lock makers from Philadelphia. Brass buttcap, nosecap and ferrules. The octagonal barrel is brown with some light pitting at nipple. Overall length: 55-inches; the octagonal barrel is 39-inches breech to muzzle.
