Unwin & Rogers Knife Pistol, Two Blades and Tweezers .31-Caliber, 3-3/8'' Nickel Barrel, Silver Pins
Made by Well Known Cutlers in the 1850s, octagonal barrel with two steel blades, one dagger shaped measuring 3-3/8'' overall; the other a more conventional blade measuring 2-1/2'' in length…both blades marked Unwin and Rogers, the smaller baled also marked SHEFIELD. The barrel displays standard proofs; smooth horn grip/ scales affixed with German silver pins; butt area contains tweezers, and compartment for balls, unfortunately no bullet mold. Overall condition is very decent, well used; both blades dark mottled, small blade with some tip imperfection, each with good sharp edge; barrel is missing nipple. Pistols action is smooth and mechanically fine; very good bore.
