Pair of Belgian Flintlock Boxlock Pistols, .45-Caliber, pair

Pistols are unmarked yet engraved on both sides; Belgian proof marks on left sides. The barrels have bottom studs holding rammer/picks that are retained by a simple spring; sliding safeties are mounted on tops. Finely checkered walnut European birds head grips featuring shell carvings. The metal parts are lightly mottled and without pitting. One pistol is tight and smooth, the other doesn’t hold at full cock, else good; condition commensurate with age and use. Overall length: 7.5"; barrel length: 3.5"
