Probably Pennsylvania Volunteers, Possibly Abraham Ulrich
Serial number 213671, wedge #12164; 4-inch barrel; 6-shot, large guard; 70% cylinder scene; 1 line New York address; traces of blue & case colors overall faded gray in color; almost no traces silver on grip straps; 90% varnish on grips; mechanically excellent; accompanied by holster which has imperfections.
Hand inscribed on butt: "1862 A. Ulrich P.V."
Possibly Abraham Ulrich whom enlisted 9/12/1862 as 1st Lieutenant, Pennsylvania 11th Infantry; mustered out 9/25/1862 at Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Also listed is Adam S. Ulrich enlisted 9/12/1862 as Private, PA 11th Infantry; mustered out 9/25/1862 at Harrisburg.
Adam and Abraham are probably brothers, cousins, etc.
Another possibility is Andrew, he enlisted 11/10/1862 Private, PA 166th Infantry, mustered out 7/28/1863 at Harrisburg.
