The .50 caliber plum colored octagonal barrel is stamped "Lechler"; reconversion to flint; all brass furniture, four piece engraved patchbox, pierced and engraved sideplate and thumbpiece; brass butt with brass toeplate having engraved border and engraved pineapple forend. The walnut stock with carved cheekpiece and checkered wrist displays a rich patina; shrinkage cracks at wrist professionally repaired; two slivers of wood restored on forestock.
