Remington Vest Pocket Pistol, Elliot Designed, 92% Nickel Finish
A.K.A. Saw Handle Deringer [split breech]
Date/Period: This model made 1865-1888

Remington Vest Pocket Pistol, Elliot Designed, 92% Nickel Finish A.K.A. Saw Handle Deringer [split breech], right facing

Measurement: .41-caliber, 4-inch octagon to round barrel

Material: Walnut grips

Condition: The pleasing bright finish is about 92%. There is a patch of missing nickel
on the lower right side of the barrel that constitutes about 7% of the finish that has
peeled cleanly off leaving bright steel underneath. It is invisible from the top and left
side and is not obtrusive. The walnut grips have a lovely figure and retain about 70%
of the finish.

Additional Information: Full nickel finish including the hammer and trigger. The
standard barrel markings are sharp. Serial number is 3295. A terrific example.
