Additional Information: This product was manufactured in San Leandro, California,
during the 1920s. Designed for use against gophers and other burrowing animals, the
gun is set into a gopher hole, The trap is fired by the animal striking the plate, killing the
animal via the directed blast of gas towards the underbelly using a .38 S&W blank
cartridge. Brass trip plate, with a steel barrel with solid end and vent hole on top,
exposed steel striker and sear.
