Condition: Very good, mechanics work but are sticky; slight lift/bend to heel
of buttplate; reconverted to flintlock; lock and side plate are replacements.
Additional Information: .56-caliber, full round barrel, cherry stock, rich color, and warm
finish, with extra fine forestock molding; upper barrel channel is mint. French style
engraved brass mounting. Wrist escutcheon is floral engraved and is dated “1783”.
There is a simple fluted tang carving like a shell.
