Full walnut stock in very good condition having finely checkered grip, horn forend.
The 8-inch .70-caliber octagonal barrel is rifled; smooth pewter gray surface; barrel flat
with maker’s name and city; breech displays a shell engraving. Double gold bands
inlayed within breech; tang displays fine scroll engraving and a fand aft of notched rear
site. The lock plate with makers name is similarly engraved as is the trigger guard
including finials and long tang. Buttcap with patchbox also engraved. Trigger is tight
setting to full cock. (Overall: 14”)
