Fancy hide grade antique double barrel percussion European shotgun by Weigandt in Leipzig, fancy engraved lock plates marked “Kreisser” with engraved hammers, engraved breech and muzzle area…extensively and finely carved.

The carved half-stock in deluxe walnut…grip, fore stock and area surrounding breech tang display outstanding carvings and fine checkering; dovet

ailed sling patchbox with carved end-frieze; carved horn trigger guard and butt plate. This gun is in overall fine condition displaying an even brown patina on barrels, nice bores, smooth and tight left and right action. Gold inlay on barrel rib reads: KREISSET et WEISSER.A LEIPZIG
Bone tipped wood cleaning rod; silver presentation; inlayed vacant gold plaque/shield atop wrist.
