Condition: Excellent, original, pierced for hanging
Additional Information: The playing surface is inset within a cove molded frame. The
black and oyster-white squares were laid out with a scribe; pumpkin/brown ornamented
border. A nice example that displays well.
The top is fitted with a game pieces drawer and is inlaid with anchors, a chicken,
rooster, duck, and butterfly, also people and stars. Within diagonal corners are found
two small paintings, a vignette of a spouting whale, the other a sailboat. The top is
raised on square legs having two brackets each; legs are joined by a medial shelf of
geometric gridwork design also featuring angled bracket supports.

ornamentation, scrolling and striping. 12 1/2 x 15 3/4 in.
Graphic and colorful checkerboard featuring yellow, black and
red paint; corners banded in brass; one missing which we can have fabricated. The
parcheesi side centers a decoupaged lithograph…a lighthouse and its environs. Overall,
very good, small losses to lithograph as depicted, displays well.
Lipstick red squared within off-white faux inlay; fanciful bud-like flourishes ornament the
corners within red faux inlay border…all against the black ground. The square nail
applied molding features a ripple molded liner sans one side. Displays well.

(Applied moldings, square nailed with nails added during the early 20th century; some loss to molding limited to one corner; now worn smooth; scattered and minor paint losses as shown; 29.5 by 17.25 by 1")
For the advanced collector...spectacular painted board of bread-board construction; the back with superb patina. As depicted, fanciful borders and flourishes akin to ornamentation found on American painted tin. Fine untouched original condition. (19.75 x 19.5 x 1 inches.)
