Antique Tobacco Pipe, Folk Art Carved Civil War Soldier

A competently carved pipe depicting a soldier wearing a flowing beard, long mustache, and kepi attached with hinge. There are "draw" holes through the nostrils facilitating the ability to draw air into the bowl.

Date: 1861-1865

Material: Walnut, glass eyes, sterling silver ferrule
