Material: Zinc

Condition: A crack to tail where it is joined to rump has been repaired, else fine.

Additional Information: A zinc 'Fire Dog' statue, depicting a standing Labrador
retriever with raised tail wearing a studded collar, the whole resting on a
naturalistic rectangular base with scattered leaves, having later thinning
polychrome decoration, marked 'J. W. Fiske' at the front of the base.

This friendly fellow lays on a pedestal with fluted edges, strong traces of reddish-brown
pigment remain. Two small chips to base at tail end, displays well.
