Condition: Very good, retaining old if not original surface that has been polished.

Additional Information: Beaded edge tray-top above ring and ball-turned pedestal

Material: Walnut with some figure, base: poplar

Condition: Very good, commensurate with age and use; base retains original red, top,
Cleat and column appear to be in original surface, good color, and patina.
Small expertly crafted patch to edge of top that does not distract. Minor
pesting limited to underside of base.

Additional Information: Round top attached to typical robust early style cleat pierced
by turned standard featuring sagged baluster…chamfered shoe feet.

As depicted...the serpentine top with tight lines is crisply chamfered at sides and is affixed to cherry cleat that receives the tapered column with urn above spool turnings; raised on ridged cabriole legs terminated by pad feet. The legs and pedestal are notched and shaped where joined at base. A successful Chippendale expression made during the Federal period...perhaps Deerfield, Massachusetts. Excellent condition; old refinish. (Height: 26"; top: 18.25 x 17.75".)

The 18.5" round mahogany top is nailed to the chamfered gumwood cleat that receives the tapered trumpet column; nicely shaped slab-cut legs are mortised to shaft with bell shaped drop-finial. In very good condition and having good color; each leg tightened by installing a screw from the underside to the column, all else fine. The height is 24.5".

featuring perfectly proportioned vase turning. The base of standard displays beautifully
executed gouge carved double-fluting flanking each leg. Ridged cabriole legs resting on
slipper feet retaining full pads.

Material: Maple and birch

Additional Information: A fine classic example featuring a delicately shaped top
having cusped corners; the underside of top is sharply chamfered; cleat affixed to shaft
featuring hexagonal base and top which center urn, ring, and vase turnings. The table is
raised on arris molded cabriole tripod base [simplified version of snake feet]. The
underside of legs where morticed to standard are notched and scrolled with ogee
curves.
