Rectangular lid having applied molding set to conforming case with eighteenth century “H” hinges that were available to maker. Simple square nailed lap construction. The top features a large wide-eyed black cant flanked by two smaller cats; front displays a dog.

Measurement: Height: 13.5"; Width: 18.75"; Depth: 11.25"

Material: Pine [repurposed], and wrought iron “H” hinges, polychrome.
