Folk Art Still Life, Watermelon and Grapes on Platter

The picture is accompanied by a note stating the picture was created by cousins Daniel Simmons Myers (1845-1904) and Isabel Rachel Reed (1839-1878) between 1865-1868. Grandparents’ names are recorded on “granny” note found on the verso. We were fortunate to locate family genealogy which includes the artists which is available for the asking.

Measurement: Frame: 24.25" x 20.25"; View: 19.75" x 15.75"

Material: Watercolor and gouache on Paper, walnut frame.

Item Condition: Strong color, displays well; toning, trivial imperfections commensurate with ageing.
