We have not located another unopened example. Dark blue sprigged paper with embossed wax seals retaining complete and original Ely’s label; the reverse with original instructions/advertising label. High outside edges of top and bottom are split so that we can carefully/partially lift to view a pristine embossed brass cover. Lifting the bottom paper ever-so-slightly exposes the jappaned bottom.

Material: Japanned Tin, brass lid, outer sprigged paper wrap, printed label, wax seals.

Item Condition: Very good... considering! Outer edges of top and bottom separated, displays very nicely.
