Colchester School
A chest displaying well-balanced proportions featuring a molded and enclosed bonnet, the bonnet molding terminated by carved rosette sunbursts; arcaded conforming top drawers centering a punch-decorated shell carved center drawer above four graduated overhanging thumb-molded drawers flanked by quarter columns; the lower case of three conforming graduated drawers on a molded and gouge-carved base raised on applied bracket feet.

Material: Cherry, white pine, brass hardware
Item Condition: Very good condition, trivial and scatted drawer lip repairs [top case]; finial is replaced. The brass hardware is original.
