Well-proportioned forged iron rushnip with a spherical counterweight, long tapered jaws, high arched legs continuing to spade feet, and a gracefully curved counterweight arm. An attractive example from the Caernarvonshire/Denbighshire border region of Northwest Wales.

Item Condition: Very good condition with an even, untouched surface. and scattered oxidation consistent with age and use.
