Hudson River Valley
The dovetail joined case features a crown molding surmounting dental molding; canted sides and a pair of raised panel doors. The whole raised on a molded base resting on applied backet feet.

Item Condition: The center stile [flanked by doors] was replaced during the early 19th century. The rear feet and bottom backboard are replaced…the cupboard sat for years on a wet dirt floor. A highly respected surface restoration expert removed layers of old paint to expose the original green surface. Red painted interior is original.
