The octagonal top having a chamfered underside raised on carved post resting on cruciform base featuring down sloping scalloped shoe feet. The pricket within a wrought iron collar is attached to a conforming sheet iron drip-pan which is attached to top via rosehead nails.

Item Condition: Excellent, fissure to foot strengthened early in working life with small wood peg. A rosehead nail was used to guarantee the integrity of a similar shrinkage fissure in the top of one stand by piercing the side. The stands display well on tabletop or floor.
