OUTSTANDING and elegant

The 34-inch, .32-caliber octagonal barrel with decorated muzzle and German silver inlayed breech is a plum-brown fading to Smokey gray color; front site is German silver; fancy rear site is engraved. Stocked in boldly striped fine and tight curly maple; outstanding patina; fine and elegant architecture. Brass furniture included rocker and line-engraved sideplate with mother-of-pearl inlay and cast brass buttplate having engraved under-plate with alternating heart and diamond inlay. The trigger guard engraved with undulating line motif and maker's initials in script-EC. The four-piece openwork patchbox is fully engraved. Twenty six engraved inlays including hearts, diamonds, thumb-piece, a fox and more. The engraved percussion lockplate and hammer are original; double set trigger. Overall length: 48.5-inches.
