Very Small Samuel Nock Flintlock Pistol
With folding trigger
Circa 1805-1820


An S. Nock, London (working 1805-1852) small box lock flintlock pistol with folding trigger. The pistol has a 1.75-inch round steel barrel, a square steel frame and a round bag grip, which is finely checkered and has a silver thumb piece. The gun is 5-inches in overall length. Overall, the steel is a medium bright color with some brown mottling. The sliding safety functions well. The trigger has 80% bright blue. The gun is mechanically fine. Its style indicates that it was made between 1805 and 1820.
