Reverse: Finely engraved with the following: PRESENTED / BY ATHOL LODGE NO. 308 / DEC. 1819 / TO MOST WORSHIPFUL PAST MASTER / ASAHEL SMITH / AS A TESTIMONIAL OF ITS / BROTHERLY REGARD. A large and impressive early medal from this small town on the eastern shore of Lake Ontario in New York.
