8 5/8 .54-caliber smooth bore barrel. ORIGINAL FLINT, Barrel Marked “US / ET” [Elisha Tobey] with a “P” in Sunken Rosette. Lock is Marked “US” over “S. NORTH”. Extremely difficult to find in original flint… Navy Pistol; one of a very few that never had a belt hook

Item Condition: Tight and smooth action; stock appears to retain original color; shrinkage crack emanating from front lockplate bolt to channel. There is an expert bit of restoration to lockplate plateau aft of plate tang that does not distract/ All metal parts in smooth clean surface.
