A fine and outstanding Edwardian penmanship by Students of Edward Schenk, ink on paper, fancy lettering reading, "The Students Department of Ornamental Penmanship as Taught and Practiced by Edward C. Schenk - Penman". With mounted cabinet card albumen photograph of Schenk surrounded by elaborate decoration, including winged angels above and below, a pond with reeds, cattails, swans, and boats.
