The standard surmounted by a spiral twist finial, the adjustable oval needlework panel below depicting a mourning scene featuring a standing lady near a funeral urn, inscribed below Artemisia. The spirally fluted urn-form standard below on stylized leaf-carved cabriole legs ending in peaked snake feet.

Date: Circa 1790

Measurement: Height: 54.75"; screen: 12.5" x 9.5"

Condition: Generally, very good, commensurate with age and use; trivial veneer patches and shrinkage to oval needlework frame.
