Smith & Wesson’s 1st Model Revolver Union Gutta Percha Case, SCARCE

The lid features an embossed Smith & Wesson first model revolver with shields and floral scroll in each corner and with tiny revolvers used as upper and lower borders. The top of case displays: “Manufactured Only By Smith & Wesson” emphasizing Smith & Wesson’s exclusive license to the bored through cylinder patent. The lid of case is lined with green velvet; bottom with light burgundy; sides of lid and bottom lined with faded rose colored velvet. The interior is fitted with a gutta percha barrel rest and cartridge block accommodating 56 cartridges.

Material: Thermoplastic, velvet liner

Item Condition: Excellent condition, would be a challenge to upgrade. Very small and minor Area of cylinder rub to interior liner.
