Pair of Antique Flintlock Box-Lock Pistols, William Grice, London, 18th Century

Long slender three-stage turn-off .58-Caliber barrels; frames, barrels at breech and cocks are rocker engraved. The action, both sides... signed on a scroll within rococo and floral imagery; bow of trigger guard displays floral engraving. The figured walnut grips profusely inlaid with fine silver wire scrollwork. Tower Private Proof marks, crossed scepters and crown stamped twice.

Condition: Excellent condition. The actions are tight and smooth.
