Constructed of ash and pine; tack and peg joinery; of the three original leather sling straps, two are intact with the third being compromised. The surface is original-green paint now highly oxidized and appearing black. One side centered by impressed initials “NR” ( ___ Rifles; RK- owners initials.) and period scratch-carved initials “RK” as depicted.
