: A fine and rare example of pre-prohibition advertising showing a great aerial view of the factory and the turn-of-century Fairhaven District of New Haven. The factory scene is complete with trolley car, and a company owned freight train; weathervane and American flag positioned against a beautiful sky. The Yale brewing company established in 1872 by the partners of Schleippman & Spitter was one of thirteen brewers in the New Haven area. The company closed in 1920.
