Antique Bench in Original Raspberry Red Paint, Functional Seating or Display, Probably Pennsylvania, Circa 1830-1840, Image 1

The top raised on shaped front legs resting on demilune cutout feet; legs joined by beaded apron; back of legs and bench canted brackets set into dadoes. It appears that this bench was made to fit a specific space, likely against a wall... perhaps a bucket bench; originally fabricated with one end of top being squared, the other with ovolo front corner.
