New England Chair table, Hutch Table, Original Red Paint

New England Chair table, Hutch Table, Original Red Paint, Image 1

The generously proportioned top featuring ovolo corners is affixed to the base with butt hinges. The arms with shaped handholds are raised on triple-beaded square posts continuing to tapering feet. The posts are joined by medial seat on rails and box stretcher, both beaded. Both sides of the top, and the base retain near 100% original red paint in dry patina, outstanding surface. This dining size table will accommodate six chairs. Competent joinery, dovetails, wooden pegs. Compound beading to posts and rails shows great attention to detail.
