Table, Gateleg, William and Mary, Boston Area, Outstanding Turnings & Surface, 1715-1740

An oval table with falling leaves; beaded frame with drawer; base of bold block, vase and ring turned legs joined by similarly turned stretchers raised on original feet. The turnings are crisp and perfectly balanced.

Material: Maple and white pine

Condition: Very good, as expected, trivial tight shrinkage cracks to top, historic surface.
