When the box with elliptical top is laying on its back the lid shows three inlayed stars, two buttons, and raised moldings. At the narrow end of box is another relief-carved star; top features two additional stars. When lid is opened the user has access to fitted, star inlayed compartment for shaving cream which is worn smooth.
