Eighteenth Century Treen Candlestick, Crimped Tin Bobeche and Socket

Amongst the rarest treen are period candlesticks, few are as elegant as this fine example. The candle socket with folded rim and ejection slit within crimped drip pan atop elegantly turned column continuing to domed circular base featuring molded outside edge.

Condition: Excellent, great patina; shrinkage fissure beneath bobeche
