Material: Hard-paste porcelain, molded in intaglio, hand painted…rare for lithophanes
Condition: Excellent original condition
Additional Information: Depicted is an exceedingly rare lithophane showing a bust of
Lincoln facing right above draped flags and Columbia in mourning. The back is incised
"PPM 837" at the lower right corner for Prensaich Porzellan Manufaktur of Germany.
We know of only two examples – that which we offer from private New England
collection, the other, with the original wax mold, in the Blair Museum of Toledo, Ohio.
These intricate porcelain castings are intended to be illuminated from behind.

Material: Free blown glass, light aqua
Condition: Fine
Additional Information: These Closed balls were used to float fishing nets, also used
for covers on pitches, bowls, and store jars, thinner walled balls were produced for
packing, they were placed upon vases as a support for the rims during shipment. This
pair with granny note was bought perhaps 75years ago in Gloucester…the jelly label
states that: “they were old then”.

Amber turtle made from excess glass remaining in glassblowers’ pots. Color indicates possible origin. Poor turtle is missing its tail from past injury. Would make a friendly paperweight or collector piece. (Length: 6"; width: 3.5"; height: 2.5")
The engraved bowl featuring scalloped edge, band of grapes, leaves and tendrils joined to the hollow cut
stem with glass wafers. (One vase about mint, the other with scattered fleabites to rim, one scallop
ground…they display well. Height: 9")
