Material: Watercolor on paper, mounted in a period gilt frame

Condition: Good color, scattered creases, and imperfections; mounted withing a 19th century gilt frame. Displays well.

Additional Information: A basket of strawberries flanked by a sprig of roses and willow
trees surmounts the family register of marriages, births, and deaths. Giles Graves was
born 19 February 1787 in Swanzey, New Hampshire; died 28 August 1865 in Johnson,
Lamoille County, Vermont. He married Mary “Polly” Newton 21 September 1813, in
Wethersfield, Windsor, Vermont
