An encyclopedic iconography... folk art imagery speaking to William Henry Harrison... the future president behind a plow; barrel of HARD CIDER, at lower right is a squirrel, Harrison loved squirrel stew. Two full length portraits of Harrison, WHH was a fashion hipster [modern and retro style]. A pair of birds: Harrison had a pet McCaw, his home was named Grouseland, as a tribute to birds on his property. And of course, at upper right is a Great Seal, the national symbol of the United States. The work is mounted within a beautiful frame, turned, and split molding joined at corner blocks.
