Extremely rare all-wood rush holder constructed with an oak base, pine upright, oak horizontal arm, and a willow spring arm terminating in crowned jaws. The willow spring arm was likely steam bent to achieve its graceful curvature. Original wedge-through-tenon construction and evident hand tool marks provide exceptional evidence of its traditional manufacture.
