Probably Middle Atlantic
A tall, elegant form displaying excellent black and red faux grained surface…the splats feature provincial neoclassical decoration done in yellow; other trim also yellow.
The tall and commodious seat is raised on bamboo turned legs joined by similarly turned stretchers; a projection [Tongue] extending from the side of seat receives the writing arm supports. The flat left arm is of generous proportion and scrolls outward.
The aforementioned combined with shape of seat and square canted back are mid-Atlantic shop traditions.

Item Condition: Excellent original condition. Leg glides were added. The upholstery was replaced likely during the late 20th century.
