Used for home dipping sulphur matches,cylindrical tinned sheet-iron pipkin with a broad conical funnel, rolled rim, and flat strap handle. The body is reinforced with beaded rings and fitted with an offset circular opening at the base of the funnel. Traces of an earlier japanned finish remain visible on portions of the exterior.
