Hand-formed tin peg lamp with soldered sheet-metal construction, rolled brass collars at the wick tube and filling spout, and applied strap handle. The lamp retains its original peg-style wick support and exhibits the simple, utilitarian construction associated with domestic lighting of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries.

Item Condition: Very good condition with an untouched surface showing expected oxidation and wear consistent with age and use. No apparent repairs.
