Hand-forged wrought iron grisset of elongated oval form, raised on three integral feet and fitted with a flat forged handle secured by a spade form riveted mounting plate. The handle terminates in a downward-turned hook for suspension. The body is formed from two forged sections joined along a longitudinal seam, characteristic of hand-forged construction.

Item Condition: Deep, even patina with scattered pitting and oxidation from age and use. The riveted handle remains secure, and no obvious structural repairs are visible.
