Forged standing combination candle splint/rush holder with an integral candle socket and sprung clamp mounted on a tall stem. Raised on three broad foliate legs with arris detail joined to a faceted lower stem. The spring arm terminates in a simple hook engaging a forged retaining lug, while the candle socket is forged integrally with the horizontal arm. An uncommon standing form retaining excellent period surface and honest evidence of long use.
