Painted under the spout with the foliate script initials “SB” in black enamel and printed on either side with allegorical figures and Masonic symbols, beneath a banner inscribed “MASONRY UNIVERSAL” and above the poem “The World is in Pain…,” all within scattered blue enamel floral sprays and sprigs.
